About

The adesso Anthropic Claude Connector provides AI support with special focus on AI Safety and minimalization of harmful outputs to improve the editorial experience within CoreMedia Studio.

Anthropic is a U.S.-based artificial intelligence startup company, founded in 2021. With Anthropic's products, such as Claude, adherence to generally accepted ethical rules is attempted through specific training. This is done according to principles such as those of the United Nations. Anthropic refers to its developments as Constitutional Artificial Intelligence, which is guided by a constitution of human values.

The adesso connector currently implements 3 functionalities based on Anthropic Claude:

1. Chat function for generating text content
2. AI-based text summarization
3. AI-based generation of image descriptions

The chat function opens up a wide range of options for using Claude AI directly in the studio. Customized prompts allow users to generate tailored content and insert it seamlessly into relevant fields. A conversation history makes it possible to expand or optimize interim results at any time. Possible areas of application include inspiration for new content, research support or the creation of supplementary information. Clever prompting allows the full potential of AI to be utilized for a wide range of tasks.

The AI-based text summarization functionality can be used to easily generate short texts, for example for teasers, extracted from long articles. In comparison to just using the first few words from an article with three dots at the end, AI generated teaser content is more relevant for a website user. 

As a content editor, you can edit an article and reach the supporting functionality via the feedback hub, directly from within the article itself.

The AI-based image description functionality easily supports meeting the accessibility requirements for your website. Whenever you upload an image to CoreMedia (or use an image from a DAM system), you as an editor can easily generate a short, written description of the uploaded image. The description can be copied both to the caption and to the image asset’s alt-text on click.

By using the adesso CoreMedia Anthropic Claude connector, you will make sure to generate texts with special focus on ethical standards.
